Spring is Only a Few Weeks Away!
Get Ready for Warmer Weather with Janie and Jack
By now you're fully aware that I love Janie and Jack kid's clothes, and as an affiliate I'm so excited to work with them to share some of my favorite styles. The main reasons I love Janie and Jack's kids clothing are the beautiful details and the high quality of the materials. The clothes are well made and unique, I know they'll last me a long time, and my kids look utterly adorable in their fashions :)
Since I'm a planner, I'm already getting my kids' Easter outfits squared away. The new Spring Collection offers plenty of options for my three little ones, and I was able to create some cute ensembles that coordinate without looking too "matchy." It was so fun to play around with all the new styles (can you tell?). Here are a few of my favorites:
Easter Outfit #1: Perfect For My Kindergartener!
This is probably my favorite dress in the whole Spring Collection. It's the Bow Eyelet Dress, and it would look adorable with these coordinating accessories: Eyelet Bow Oxford Hat, Eyelet Bow Headband (because I know she won't keep her hat on throughout church!), and Bow Patent Leather Shoes. I absolutely love the drop-waist look of the dress, and eyelet dresses always look so precious on little ones!
Easter Outfit #2: A Preppy Look for a Peppy Toddler!
I know my {almost} two year old will look super sharp in this colorful outfit that's pulled together by the Plaid Bowtie. I'm totally smitten with the way the yellow Gingham Roll Cuff Shirt pairs with the unexpected pop of blue in the Twill Shorts (and, by the way, did you notice how little bro's outfit perfectly ties in the colors of BOTH of his sister's dresses?)!
Easter Outfit #3: Plaid is Just Perfect for a Preschooler!
I love the details on the shoulders of this Ruffle Plaid Dress (and the sweet little bow in back, which you can't see here, but you can check it out in the product description). And what about accessories? Well, obviously if her sister has a hat and headband, she's going to need one, too! The Bow Straw Sunhat and the Bow Headband are a perfect match. Plus, these Bow Espadrille Sandals will be great to have in the closet all spring and summer long.
Looking for Some More Casual Options?
Janie and Jack's Spring Collection has many more styles choose from, so even if you're not in the market for Easter ensembles, their dressier options are perfect for spring weddings or other special events. If you want something more casual, you won't be disappointed! I just had to share a couple of my other favorites below (you can see I'm really into the nautical look this season)! :)
P.S. The Striped Sailor Dress, The Striped Ponte Dress, and the Espadrille's (can I get those in my size, please?) are all on sale!!!
Before I finish, I want to share the "thrifter" side of this post. You've probably noticed that Janie and Jack's prices are higher than some other kids brands, and that may make you reluctant to shop there for kids clothes (which tend to take a lot of abuse). But here's how I see it: sometimes you can't discount the old addage, "You get what you pay for." And while I'm ALWAYS looking for a deal, I'm willing to pay a little more to have the details and quality of Janie and Jack clothes. To me, they have a more solid, "European" feel to them, and the colors and shapes really hold up over time, so I know I'll get my money's worth! An added bonus: Janie and Jack clothes will ALWAYS sell at kids consignment sales and shops, so after I get all the usage I can from my kids, I know I can sell them and make up some of the original expense. Then again, they also make great, special pieces to hand down to younger cousins :)
Happy Shopping! Let me know what you find!
